Introduction
What DNA is, and where to start.
DNA checks every AI agent that visits your site, then lets it in, charges it for the page, or stops it, by your rules. A new account only watches: it logs every agent and blocks or charges nothing until you say so.
What it does
- Every request is labelled in your log: Verified, Name only, Impersonator, or No name. See Who is asking.
- DNA uses multiple identity standards to verify agent traffic, and catches agents faking a known crawler's name.
- DNA answers from 300+ locations, whichever is closest to your site. With the middleware, a request with no decision in time goes to your site as usual. See Availability.
- DNA is a D3 product. The dashboard and API run on
d3.com; npm packages use the@d3-incscope.
