Questions before you connect

Will Google and other search engines still reach my site?

Yes. Search engines and people browsing your site get in exactly as they do today. DNA only steps in for the agents you choose.

Will checkout or my forms break?

No. A new site starts with nothing blocked, so checkout and forms keep working. DNA stops an agent only once you decide it should.

Can I block AI training but keep ChatGPT shopping visits?

Yes, and that’s what most owners want. Stop GPTBot from copying your pages for training, and keep welcoming ChatGPT when it’s shopping for a customer. Tell us what to stop and we set it up.

What if my domain was bought through Shopify or another platform?

You’re covered either way. If your platform lets you change nameservers, point them at DNA. If it doesn’t, move the domain to another registrar, or add the DNA middleware if you run your own code.

Do I lose my DNS records?

No. DNA copies every record, email included, and shows you the list before you switch. The middleware never touches your DNS.

How do I undo it?

Point your nameservers back, or remove the middleware. Your site carries on as before.
